Crystal Rowell, Registered Nurse

Meet our dedicated Nurse Practitioner and founder, Crystal Rowell. With 14 years of experience in internal medicine, urgent care, women's health, infusion therapy, and clinical research, she has developed a broad range of skills and expertise. However, she has developed a keen interest in clinical research and how to support improvement in high-quality health care. 

Her passion for clinical research has led her to work on various trials to improve patient outcomes and advance treatments for various medical conditions. Her involvement in research has given her a unique perspective on patient care, allowing her to provide her patients with the most innovative and evidence-based treatment options.

She has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and staying current with the latest medical advancements. Her dedication to continuing education and learning has allowed her to stay at the forefront of healthcare, providing her patients with the highest level of care. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Louisiana Obesity Society. She has previously received certification as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator and practiced as a Sub-Investigator as well. 

Crystal is known as a nurse practitioner for her compassionate and patient-centered approach to care. She believes building a strong relationship with her patients is essential to providing the best possible care. Her ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds has made her a highly respected and valued member of the healthcare community.

Crystal aims to provide high-quality and innovative research throughout south Louisiana by adding Magnolia Clinical  Research.

Tana Bourgeois, Registered Nurse

I am an experienced registered nurse with over 7 years of dedicated service in the healthcare industry. Graduating from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, I have honed my skills and knowledge, providing top-notch care to diverse patients.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for clinical research, which I firmly believe plays a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare. My experience in this field has allowed me to gain valuable insights and contribute to advancing medical knowledge.

I possess an unwavering commitment to the well-being of patients and have a keen interest in exploring the world and immersing myself in different cultures. Traveling and attending concerts have become my cherished pastimes, allowing me to unwind and recharge.

In my role as a nurse, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the impact of quality research on patient outcomes. With this in mind, my goal for this company is to lead and conduct studies with the utmost integrity, adhering to good clinical practice guidelines. I am driven to ensure that the community's best interests are at the forefront of every decision.

Dr. Lawrence Carter II, Collaborating Physician

Dr. Lawrence Clarence Carter II is a highly experienced and dedicated physician currently practicing in south Louisiana. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College in 1994 and his Medical Doctor degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center in 1998.

Dr. Carter completed an Internal Medical & Pediatrics residency at Louisiana State University-Shreveport from 1998 to 2000 following his medical studies. Subsequently, he pursued further training in Family Medicine at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital/LSU-Monroe from 2001 to 2004.

Dr. Carter has held various positions throughout his career, including roles as an Urgent Care Physician at Lake Urgent Care/Lake Afterhours and Louisiana Urgent Care, as well as a Primary Care Physician at Innis Community Center and Franklin Medical Center. He has made significant contributions to the medical field. He has been recognized for his achievements, including being awarded Resident of the Year and Chief Resident at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital/LSU-Monroe. Additionally, he was honored with the title of Baby Catcher of the Year at the same institution.

Dr. Carter is also strongly interested in contributing to medical/clinical research, enhancing healthcare practices, and advancing medical knowledge to benefit patients and the broader medical community.

With his extensive medical background and numerous accolades, Dr. Lawrence Clarence Carter II continues to provide exceptional patient care while positively impacting the medical community through his clinical work and research endeavors.
